It is that time of year again - Comic Con has started selling tickets and the studios are starting to put together their plans for promoting the latest movies, tv shows, and video games.

Last year we had the opportunity to work for the Syfy Network to promote Sharknado 3.

San Diego Stilt Walkers - Custom made Uncle Sam costumes with Sharks.

Our costume designers were challenged to create a stilt walking Uncle Sam being attacked by  a shark - x4.

This was extremely challenging considering the stilt walkers were working 3 days doing 8 hours a day. That alone is a huge challenge to find stilt walkers that are skilled and professional enough to endure the long hours. The costumes had to be comfortable and light weight. Not to mention Comic Con crowds are INSANE! Our stilters walked through the crowds up, down, around, and through the San Diego Historic Gaslamp District.

Last year we were very excited to introduce "Stretch" the official Padres Stilt Walker. 

He quickly gained his own fans and was even asked by Fox Sports to do a 3 minute special feature all about him. 

Stretch has also performed as the Padre Stilt Walker on multiple special events.

This year we introduced a new stilt walker for Opening Day. She is high energy and never seems to stop dancing - except for pictures!

  

You can see Stretch strolling through the Petco Park - Park at The Park, every Friday and Saturday for Padre Home games.

Champagne Stilt Walker

Functional Interactive Stilt Walkers

We have been performing for over 10 years for this Children's Hospital Annual Gala. This year our stilt walker was utilized to cut down champagne glasses that were used as a chandelier. Guest's handed him their raffle tickets and would receive their champagne glass. Each glass raised $50 towards the Hospital and gave the guest's a chance to win a diamond necklace. It is always a popular event!

Stilt Walking for the
San Diego Padres

We are very excited to be a part of the 10 year celebration of Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. 

What started as us being a part of their Opening Night & Opening Day games has turned into Friday & Saturday home games through the end of May.

Vernon had a great time and was seen nationally on ESPN & Fox Sports.

Stilt Walkers for a Kid Friendly Halloween

"not-so-scary" Halloween events

I can't believe it has already been a year since we were dressed up and "not" scaring little kids. We have been providing stilt walkers for this event since it's creation 9 years ago. It has grown into a huge event and we are now entertaining over 18,000 guest's a night. 

One of the crowd favorites is our Stilt Team, they all stand over 9 feet tall. We have chosen only the best stilt walkers to perform with us, each stilt walker has a minimum of 5 years experience and are fully insured!

We also provide many strolling ambiance entertainers and stage acts. This year we introduced The Goblin King - an interactive live puppet. He immediately became one of the favorite characters. He will talk and joke with you as you stand in line for the Enchanted Trail.

Let's not forget about Brickzini! 

His stories and fortunes entertain both kids and adults.

Tap Dancing Skeletons?
Yes, we have those, too!

 You can catch them on both stages as well as cruising around the park with their tombstones.

Looking for something a little more "OUT OF THIS WORLD? 

Space girl walks around and helps the kids communicate with her home planet.

 She made her debut last year and already has families coming back to see her.

Our team pulled out all the stops to create some new stilted characters for the VH1 Dawn of the Con opening night party for. 

Our costumer was hard at work while our make-up team was mixing, matching, and building prosthetic pieces to finish the looks.

It was an exhausting evening - 4 hours on stilts... we were having so much fun we never took a break.
